Real Estate Investors

October 2, 2022

The opportunity to make real estate, family, children, and senior portraits keeps us busy. Many times making these photos are what I would do for fun; however times I do get paid. My appointments typically pop up with only a few hours of notice. I like the suddenness of this type of business; you never know where you'll end up or the people you'll meet. Most days, I can go home, head held high, ready for dinner and a restful night. Real estate transactions can move along briskly at times, especially investments. A real estate investor is likely in a distant state and needs to see the property in which they are interested. These properties usually won't sell on the traditional market and can be very run down. I have watched investors pry off boards from doors to gain access; then, I had to be careful not to fall through holes in the floor as the coons and possums hurried out of the well-ventilated structure. A real estate investor will sometimes buy the house unseen and then ask me to take photos required by banks and fellow investors. These photo sessions are usually of rooms stacked with boxes as the current occupant prepares for moving day. An investor can provide a sale resulting in a quicker finish at a reduced price for the owner. I like the uncomplicate requirements of the real estate investor and the speed they can complete these projects.
