We are busy with our senior, business headshots, family, child, and real estate photography. Marketing real estate is very difficult for professionals at this time since listings are selling above the asking price and many times before the sign can be hammered into the yard.
Seniors are coming by every day for their senior portrait needs. Our Catholic girls' school requires a very particular type of senior portrait. This school values tradition and consistency in its photography and publications. We keep a number of portrait tops for the girls to wear in their photos, these tops look like a nice gown except they are short and expose a lot of belly buttons. Last year I would steam each top before using them to help protect against Covid-19 with a commercial steamer. We are still being careful and we are finding most seniors have been vaccinated however we will be extra careful when someone hasn't been vaccinated.
We have a couple of extended location business portrait sessions this week spanning a couple of days. I will set up a site where they are undergoing training and make create their headshots with a minimum amount of fuss. I have wonderful lightweight lighting equipment that runs well on batteries and portable backgrounds to give them the studio look they want. As I make the photos they will appear on my iPad and the subject will review and select their choices while they are there which is very efficient and desirable.
