People gather during the holidays and a lot of the time that involves me and my camera. Real estate photography, family, child, senior, business, and headshots continue as main menu items at the studio. We would like you to visit our small studio in the Arcade Square Shopping Center. We are right in the middle of West Little Rock, or as some call it, West Villiage, ten minutes from downtown.
I have always been jealous of painters who paint with oils, acrylics, or any variety of mediums. An excellent tool can take photos and help get you started on a painting. I'm sure that many will discount the result as somehow being less and authentic than paintings made with more traditional tools, anxiety, and tragic stories. My wife may doubt the process, so I paint for myself. At this time, I don't offer my paintings on the commercial market since I make portraits of people and, recently, a couple of adorable dogs; that's what I paint. Clients will look at a painting that I like and want to start making changes; this is where my problems start. I don't enjoy painting by committee; this rarely yields a product I'm proud of. So, for now, if I offer a portrait painting, it will be sold as-is or not at all. Of course, I enjoy painting photos of my family featuring my six grandchildren. Paintings help in gift-giving. I don't have to go shopping, and they don't complain.
