We make senior, business, headshot, family, and children's portraits. We provide real estate photos for real estate professionals to use in their marketing programs.
This time of year, we also take graduation photos. This photo is of the grad receiving their diploma. One school is a catholic girls' school, and another is a Catholic boys' high school. The girl's graduation is slow and elegant; the boy's graduation is similar to sports photography. There are about fifty more boys than girls, and the school tries to keep the ceremony to one hour. I still like to use printed envelopes that show the packages and allow the parents to put their payments inside. I speak to the grads for a couple of minutes at one of their practices and hand out the envelopes pleading with them to give the envelope to their mom or dad. I arrive at the graduation a couple of hours before and collect the envelopes. The ceremony starts with welcome remarks and speeches by student and administration leaders. The students anxiously awaiting the diploma they have worked on for four years sit squirming in their seats. Then the grads are called with about ten seconds between each one. A handshake and then a firm grasp on the diploma starts them on the next chapter of their life.
