Holiday Business

Families are getting together for the Holiday and planning their family portrait plans with me. Seniors have some time off just before Christmas to complete the senior portraits they would like to have for the Holidays. Business portraits are being made while planning and budgeting for portraiture are underway. Firms that value the power of their image and that of their associates are more likely to be the ones who budget next year as well. The Real Estate market increases and decreases with the interest rates available to potential buyers. This "trickles down" to all segments of the real estate business. When buyers can't rely on an aggreable interest rate, they delay the transaction, which means fewer real estate photo jobs for LeMay Photography. What happens, then? I like to study a problem I don't have time to research during busy times of the year. Recently I noticed that many of my real estate photos with ceiling fans had the shadow of the blades in my photos. Ceiling fan blade shadows are something for me to be concerned with and not anyone else, I hoped. An hour or two on YouTube helped; I have an entire year to perfect my new techniques. Last week I took commercial photos for a chain of beauty salons. They needed to use the budget for this or lose it, so I was happy to help them that following day. I like being scheduled suddenly; it keeps life exciting and fresh.
