It's Beginning to look a lot like Christmas

My family was all in for Thanksgiving recently, many from Texas. I have flour married children, three of which live in Central Arkansas. So as Thanksgiving approached, my kitchen became ground zero for the baked goods to be consumed at Thanksgiving. I must admit that I enjoy that "show" watching them learn to bake, some successful, some not but all very entertaining. I will have seven grandchildren by the end of the year. Most are old enough to make plenty of noise and distribute clutter on the floor, just like their moms and dads did years ago. They are loud, which can get on your nerves if you let it, but then there are the moments you remember. My oldest grandson watched one of my movies with me; I had to pause the video and get dinner. Upon my return, I mentioned the movie and he announced that he finished it by himself, third grade.
