Next year is an election year, so politicians are getting ready to run next fall; however, the work begins now. Without professional photography, politicians would not have an essential tool to use in their campaigns. Political portraits are no longer all shot in front of a flag. Many are outdoors, featuring elements that communicate their positions to voters. A candidate might have photographs made in a busy place the ordinary people to show they are approachable and friendly. Or, they might go to the gun range and show they are supportive of that issue. Since photography is all I do we can offer sessions right away, and of course, we can deliver the finished product in a professional, timely fashion.
The Beauty of Children and the Reality of Polictics

This time of year, people are looking for photos of their children for Christmas cards as they celebrate the season. I don't care for the style of portraits used by big box stores and portrait retailers that show a "Christmas Background." If my photo has snow and a quaint village in the distance, it was actually there, not just painted on the canvas. Studio portraits of small children are becoming less and less common. The young photographer of today takes almost all their photos outside. A studio is not on their mind; it is all I ever wanted. The studio offers a comfortable experience without the concern for weather.
