New Neighbors

As summer persists, but the hope of fall is growing more every week, we continue to make our headshots and help our real estate agents with photos for marketing purposes. Central Arkansas professionals come to our small studio in Arcade Square Shopping Center for headshots or business portraits. It's safe, and they don't have to go to someone's house, garage or basement. My neighbor had to leave as Covid wrapped its deadly arms around the world; I had been alone in my corner of the shopping center for some time. Now a lady's clothing boutique is moving in; their opening is proudly displayed in white shoe polish on the display windows. Having more company in my small enterprise will be nice as I do not depend on foot traffic. My large West Little Rock studio featured a dominant display area where spotlights illuminated the portraits at night. We had virtually no foot traffic, but I still remember how proud I was while leaving at night with such an excellent presentation of my work. There were few to enjoy it; however, over the years, people found out where I was and did come to be our friends. Now I may have actual people coming into my corner in search of unique fashion finds; hopefully, women who have always been my most faithful clients, men would be happy to let me starve to death. The widow blinds have been closed for a few years now, but there is hope that new eyes may be in my future.
